Recording Signed Lien Waivers

Recording Signed Lien Waivers

Once a generated lien waiver has been received from the Vendor/Subcontractor with a signature, the users will need to record a received date into Greenlight. Greenlight will warn users and tag a vendor/subcontractor non-compliant if a lien waiver has not been recorded by the due date. The following section will review the steps on how to record lien waivers.

Recording Waiver Forms on the Vendor Record

Users can record a signed waiver by Vendor from the Job Waiver Tab or the Vendor Waiver Tab. This section will review how to use the Waiver Tabs on the Job or Vendor to record a signed lien waiver.

      1)   Click on the Job from the Navigation Tree and click on the Lien Waiver Tab.

     2)   From the Lien Waiver Tab, click on the Show Outstanding Lien Waivers Box from the Filter Bar to show all liens that have not been received.

     3)   Locate the Vendor and Lien Waiver from the Grid and enter the date in the Date Received Column .

Note: The Same process can be done on the Vendor Level.  Click on the Vendor Record and follow the steps above.

      4)    You can attach a copy of the signed waiver form.  Click on the Document Icon located to the right of the Waiver Record.

      5)   Click on the … Button and locate a copy of signed waiver.  Once you have selected the document, select the Waiver Type from the Pull-Down Menu.  Then click the Attach Button.

Recording Multiple Signed Waiver By Job

Users can record a received date for multiple vendors on a given job. The following section will review how to use the Record Waivers Received by Job function.

      1)   Click on the Record Waivers Received Button located at the top of the screen to access the Record Waivers Dialog Box.

      2)   From the Record Wavers Dialog Box, select the Job from the Job Drop-Down Menu.

      3)   Enter the date received in the Received Date Field.

      4)   Click on the Select Button next to the vendors whose lien waivers you have received. You will notice that the date entered in the Received Date Field will automatically pre-fill the Received Date Column once the Select Button has been               clicked on.

Note: Users can edit any data information from the Through Date Column to the Miscellaneous Columns.

      5)  Users can attach a scanned copy of the signed release form into Greenlight for future reference. Click on the Attach Wavier Button at the end of the Record Waiver Dialog Box to access the Attach Waiver Documents Dialog Box.

      6)  From the Attach Waiver Documents Dialog Box, click on the ... Button to locate the scanned file. The Description Field will automatically pre-fill with the lien waiver type and through and received dates. Choose the Waiver Type from the         Document Type Drop-Down Menu and click the Attach Button when done.

      7)       Click on the Record Button when done.
